Interviews, at whatever stage of your career you're at, are nerve-wracking. Preparation is key for interviews, so thinking ahead to cover the questions that could catch you off-guard is vital.

Put those smartphones away: Great tips for making your job interview count - TED Ed Talk

In this TED Talk Anna Post discusses the role of a job interview and how it may be the most important conversation of your life (no pressure). She delves into areas like dressing for the part, preparation, being on time, and the all-important handshake.

Puzzle Fry

For certain job roles, your interviewer may test parts of your skillset with puzzles or aptitude tests. Puzzle Fry is a great way of practicing these kinds of brain teasers, and is actually quite fun! Here is an example of one on their site below... do you know the answer?

Interview Boss

'Interview Boss' is a podcast hosted by sisters Emma and Sarah Smith, and is all about providing advice, inspiration, and support for job seekers. If you've got a bit more time on your hands and fancy listening to a few hours of interview-related content, then this is the one for you.

Their podcast episodes include titles like 'Deconstructing REAL answers to popular job interview questions', '"You're on mute"' - tips for online job interviews', and 'Standing out in the crowd in a group interview'.

Ambition Box

Ambitionbox.com is a website that has a interview questions page, where people post the questions they were asked in their interviews for a variety of job roles and industries.

Using this section of Ambition Box can be a great way of preparing for any tricky questions that may come your way in the interview. Practice these questions with friends and/or family members in a mock interview scenario.
