After graduating, Muna decided to do a teacher training course but had a change of heart on the day that she was meant to sign up to the course. As a result, she took a job as a Service Centre Advisor for a Housing Agency to provide an income while she tried to figure out what she wanted to do for her career.

Muna started using Sort as a career discovery tool:

“I knew I was capable and skilled, but I wasn’t sure what path I wanted to take. Sort has allowed me to navigate through career options I had not come across before in a fun and simple way.”

Muna says that she wasn't informed enough about the different career paths available while at university, and that on the whole, you're typically exposed to the same types of jobs and future aspirations over and over, and not shown the full spectrum of career pathways available to you.

Through Sort, however, Muna has discovered countless career paths that she never would have discovered previously:

“Sort has broadened my interests and given me more career options to consider.”

Muna loves that the Sort settings make it fun and easy to discover job types matched to your interests, skills, and hobbies.

“Sort is different to any other career or job page. It allows you to refine your skills and develop in areas you are weaker.

Irrespective of what path I choose to pursue, I know I can always resort back to Sort if I want to gain a skill or attain tailored career advice.”

Muna believes that Sort is a fantastic tool for anyone wanting to pursue a new career, gain skills, or just discover what's out there:

"Whether you want to learn or discover, Sort is the ultimate platform to fulfil your career discovery needs!"

Muna was one of the first people to use our new features, including our brand new dashboard design, and the ability to create your own tailor-made skills profile.

“They'll make the dreaded job search more enjoyable and accessible to many people.”

Muna's thoughts about the dashboard were overwhelmingly positive:

“Clear, concise and easy to navigate! It's your first point of contact; I was able to find exactly what I needed without trouble.”

After spending some time using our new skills feature, Muna loved that she could search for a job and be presented with the relevant skills needed:

“This really saves me time and provides necessary detail when searching through career options.

I love how easy it is to navigate, and the distinction between the skills I have and the skills I want to gain makes this feature very useful and dynamic.”

Muna told us that what Sort excels in is making information easy to digest and navigate, with a variety of content types, including videos for those who don't fancy lots of reading:

“That’s what makes Sort a fantastic career discovery platform!

If you don’t want to read through information, there are videos to watch and concise essential information listed.”

A big thank you to Muna for her ongoing feedback, and her wonderful comments about Sort.
