ABOUT YOU
You are passionate about marketing and media and are looking for your first role in a marketing agency. You live for TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Snap, Mastodon, B-Real, Hive and know others that aren’t even listed on here you may even have your own side hustle on one of these platforms already.
You are super organised, have a high attention to detail, create efficient processes and thrive working on multiple projects at once.
You have an aptitude for insight and analysis and are always striving for better results and to build a better mousetrap.
THE ROLE
You will be working with the <Product Director> on our social ad planning and buying team where you will learn to plan, traffic and analyse social ads then run them as part of our client campaigns.
This will involve liaising with strategy to set up the audience and targeting strategies and creative to make sure the ads are appropriate and approved. It will also involve the set-up, monitoring and reporting on high value ad campaigns for some of the worlds biggest and best entertainment and technology brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
#1: Ensuring all assets and information are gathered and approved well in advance of any campaign going live
#2: Setting up the campaigns and buy strategies in line with client briefs and expectations
#3: Debugging and resolving any campaign issues
#4: Optimising the performance of the campaign to exceed client KPI’s
#5: Ensuring all delivery processes are followed and working with key stakeholders to resolve and issues
#6: Manipulating campaign data and statistics to allow you to find the creative edge and insight that allows us to exceed our clients expectations
#7: Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and strategies in social media planning and buying
#8: Working with the insight team post campaign to identify what we can do better next time and putting that insight into action
REQUIREMENTS (must have)
Super organised - you have the ability to manage a number of different projects simultaneously, bringing order to everything, and never dropping the ball, as well as maintaining a high attention to detail.
Fast learner - you thrive on picking up new processes and ideas quickly, and working out solutions to problems using your own initiative.
People person - building relationships internally and externally is part of the role, excellent communication skills are key.
Analytical Mind - this role will really suit someone who seeks to understand why a thing is happening and how they can replicate those results
Social Media Awareness - you must understand all the platforms we work on and how content and audience move around them.
REQUIREMENTS (nice to have)
Experience of running a sizeable social profile - if you have successfully run a medium to large social media account it will make this role much easier
Analysis experience - If you have worked as an analyst especially in a media environment then this role will take you to the next level
A passion for video games and geek culture - you’ll be creating and running marketing campaigns that specifically seek to engage this audience. Which is much easier to do when you are the target market.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Highly organised, self-motivated with an attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and always get the job done.
Comfortable learning new tools and systems and improving processes.
Strong communicator who is confident and clear when communicating or giving feedback.
