Sort & Rapid Recovery

We're delighted to have been chosen to be part of Nesta's Rapid Recovery Challenge - using innovation to help get the nation's young people into work.

With Rapid Recovery's help, we're on a mission to support 1 million young people to find work they'll love.

A job for now, a career for the future

During the challenge, we'll be adding some important new features to our existing career discovery platform, features that will help young people identify their transferable skills and how they can use them right now to access work opportunities, whilst also helping them prepare for their futures in careers they want based on their interests, strengths, and abilities.

What we're building...

We're building a transferable skills matching system, that will help young people identify skills they have and skills they might need to develop, and show them jobs they can apply for right now or short online courses and training they can access to help them quickly upskill.

We'll help them track their progress and small steps to success, and support them on a personal level via our network of 1-2-1 professional careers advisors, experts and mentors.

High Impact Innovation

Our ethical tech tackles two parallel needs - the urgent requirement for career support as the UK's economy recovers and the future needs of young people for rewarding work they will love.

The Rapid Recovery Challenge will accelerate our ability to have impact at scale, and help us achieve our target of supporting a million young people in the next three years.

"The Rapid Recovery Challenge is so necessary right now, as millions of young people are increasingly worried about their futures in light of the effects of the global pandemic. They need our support and that’s why we're so excited to be involved in this project. "
