SORT YOUR FUTURE – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective Date: January 2025
Welcome!
Sort Your Future (“SYF”) is a trading name of The Education Hub Group Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”). If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with us using the details provided at the end of this Agreement.
1. Introduction
1.1 Our Mission
Our mission at Sort Your Future is to connect people worldwide so they can discover new opportunities, grow professionally, and find the resources they need to succeed. Our Services enable you and millions of other individuals to share ideas, develop skills, and access employment or collaboration opportunities in a trusted network.
1.2 Contract Formation
By creating a Sort Your Future account or using our Services, you agree to enter into a legally binding contract with us. If you do not accept this Agreement in its entirety, do not create an account or use our Services. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by closing your account and discontinuing use of the Services.
1.3 Changes to This Agreement
We may occasionally update these Terms. If the changes are significant and/or required by law, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, via email or a prominent notice on our site). Once the revised Terms are effective, continuing to use the Services indicates your acceptance of them. If you disagree, your sole remedy is to stop using our Services and, if you choose, close your account.
2. Eligibility and Your Responsibilities
2.1 Eligibility Requirements
- You must be at least 16 years old (the “Minimum Age”) or older if local laws require a higher age for SYF to offer you the Services without parental consent lawfully.
- You may have only one account, which must be in your real name.
- You are not otherwise restricted or prohibited from using our Services by law or by any prior agreement with us.
2.2 Your Account
- Keep your password confidential, and do not share it with anyone.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- If another party purchased access to the Services on your behalf (e.g., a school, college or counsellor), that party may have control over your use of such paid features but not over your account.
2.3 Payments, Renewals, and Refunds
- If you purchase any of our paid subscriptions or Services, you agree to pay the stated fees plus any applicable taxes.
- Refunds: We offer a 14-day cooling-off period. If you request a refund within 14 days of your purchase, we will process it (subject to reasonable checks). After 14 days, no refunds are provided unless required by law. You may, however, cancel your subscription according to our cancellation policy (see Section 5.1).
- Your payment method will be charged automatically at the start of each subscription period unless you cancel in advance.
- We may adjust prices and will notify you if we do so. If you disagree with a new price, your remedy is to cancel before the next billing cycle.
2.4 Notices and Communications
- We will provide notices via the contact information you provide (e.g., email).
- Keep your information up to date to avoid missing important communications.
- You control most notifications through your account settings.
2.5 Sharing Your Content
- By sharing content (e.g., posting on your profile, in forums, or in any interactive areas), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, use, modify, and display that content as needed to provide the Services.
- You are responsible for the content you post, and you represent that you have the right to share it.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates this Agreement or the law.
3. Rights We Grant and Our Limits
3.1 Service Availability and Changes
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time without liability.

3.2 Intellectual Property
- All trademarks, service marks, logos, and copyrights on the Services are the property of The Education Hub Group Ltd or our licensors.
- You must not use our intellectual property in a way that confuses or misleads others.
3.3 Affiliate Disclosure
- From time to time, we may include links or references to products and services that are part of affiliate marketing programs. This means we may earn a commission if you choose to make a purchase through these links.
- We only promote affiliates that we truly believe can add value to our users. However, you acknowledge that any reliance on such affiliates is at your own discretion and risk.
3.4 Third-Party Content and Interactions
- Our Services may connect you with third parties offering products, services, job or education opportunities. We are not responsible for these parties’ actions or any agreements you enter into with them.
- We do not supervise, direct, or control third-party services or offers, and we do not endorse any specific third-party product or content.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
We strive to cultivate a positive and professional community. By using our Services, you agree you will:
- Comply with all applicable laws (e.g., privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam, and export control regulations).

- Harvest or scrape data without our permission.
- Attempt to override any security features or tamper with the Services.
- Upload or distribute viruses, malware, or any code harmful to the Services or users.
- Engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading activities (including spam or manipulative content).
- Violate others’ intellectual property or privacy rights.
If you observe any violations, please report them to us. We reserve the right to remove content, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Termination, Cancellation, and Refunds
5.1 Cancellation Policy
- You can cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings. Your access to paid features will remain available until the end of your current billing cycle, and you will not be billed for subsequent periods.
- If you cancel within the 14-day refund window, we will issue a refund. After 14 days, there are no refunds, but you can choose to stop renewing your subscription moving forward.
5.2 Termination by Us
- We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, engage in illegal or harmful conduct, or otherwise create risk or potential legal liabilities for us.
5.3 Effect of Termination
- Upon termination, you lose access to the Services (including your profile and any content you have posted). Certain obligations and rights may continue (e.g., intellectual property rights granted by you to us and disclaimers of liability).
6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
6.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
- We provide the Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- We make no warranty or representation that (i) the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or (ii) the results obtained from the use of the Services will be reliable.
6.2 Limitation of Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, neither SYF nor its affiliates shall be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
- Our maximum liability arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim or £1,000 (whichever is greater).
6.3 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Education Hub Group Ltd (including its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates) from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of or in connection with your breach of this Agreement or misuse of the Services.

- This Agreement and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with it (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, unless local laws mandate otherwise.
- The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to this Agreement, subject to any applicable consumer protection laws.
8. General Terms
- If any part of this Agreement is held unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect, and the unenforceable portion shall be modified to enforce the intent of the original provision as much as possible.
- Our failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- You may not assign or transfer this Agreement (or your account) without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under this Agreement freely to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
9. Complaints About Content
